CAMH Sun Life BGO Mural Project
CAMH Foundation, Sun Life and BentallGreenOak selected my artwork for their CAMH Sun Life BGO Mural Project. They selected one local artist from the Workman Arts Community the opportunity to have their artwork featured on the exterior of a building in Toronto.
Mental Health Seek and Find is a black lined drawing on white background. The theme is around ‘seeking and finding’ the mental health supports, including personal growth, resilience and hope through one’s lived experience. There are coloured icons to help show that the items to seek are visible and around – we just have to look for them.
The mural was unveiled on June 8, 2022 at 297 College street, Toronto (Spadina and College). It is 25 ft by 20 ft.
“In partnership with CAMH and BentallGreenOak, we had the opportunity to work with Amanda on the Mural Project which gave one local artist the opportunity to have their artwork featured on a building in Toronto. The hope was that the work would help convey a message of hope, resilience, and support for Canadians and their mental health journey and Amanda’s artwork does just that. Amanda was professional and great to work with!”
